The hotel had comfortable and pretty clean overall rooms, but the fact that the pool was condemned and not notified before or during check-in was disappointing. The service was nice, especially with a tremendous help for my handicapped, elderly mother, but it couldn't compensate for a bad facility. The location was nice and convenient to various amenities, but it needs some work. The dining options were adequate but could use more variety. Overall, a mixed experience with some positive and negative aspects.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean, equipped with a microwave and fridge, but the beds were extremely hard. The service was generally good, although there was an issue with an overcharge that the staff couldn't explain. The location was the best thing about the hotel, near Davidson College and with easy access to many restaurants. The dining experience was okay, with all promised options available. On the downside, the beds were as hard as gym socks.
